Wind Challenge Exhibition

Opening reception, Friday, April 5, 6-9 pm at Fleisher Art Memorial, 719 Catherine Street, Philadelphia

I will be exhibiting my artwork centered on my own family stories at Fleisher Art Memorial as part of their Wind Challenge Exhibition Series, an annual juried exhibit held from September through May, featuring the work of exceptional artists living in the Philadelphia region.

Latino Art Now! is a biennial conference presented by the Inter-University Program for Latino Research at the University of Houston. I will be presenting along with artist Celeste de Luna  and filmmaker Laura Varela in "The Art of Documenting Migration and Detention" panel moderated by Dr. Jennifer Harford Vargas.
