Dear Sir or Ms,

Please join us this Saturday, September 10th from 9am-12pm at Victory Memorial Flagpole, located at the intersection of Victory Memorial Drive and 45th Avenue North in Minneapolis to honor the 10th Anniversary of 9/11.

We invite you to pay tribute to service and rally with Brian Dunn, Best Buy CEO, and Kathleen West, civic leader and niece of Tom Burnett. Participants are invited to also volunteer in north Minneapolis that morning and bring donation items for recipients of HandsOn Twin Cities' 9/11 initiative; to find out more as to what to bring, click here.

Thoughtful volunteer projects will provide Twin Cities’ residents with the resources to reflect upon and demonstrate the meaning of service. Together, our community will partake in an effort along with 5 million Americans nationwide.

Community volunteer members are encouraged to join in speed volunteer efforts and drop off donation items. There are many wonderful opportunities to pay tribute through service and reflect on this momentous occasion. For more information, check out our event webpage.

To pay tribute to the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, HandsOn Twin Cities and Rebuilding Together Twin Cities partnered to mobilize more than 1,000 volunteers for the National Day of Service and Remembrance. As part of this movement, generous corporate sponsors and their employee volunteers have been working to provide critical home repairs and services for 30 families, including several veterans and their families.

To find additional volunteer opportunities and participate in various acts of service, be sure to check out the HandsOn Twin Cities project calendar and memorialize this day in service.
