Screen times and kids: how much is too much?

It’s not unusual these days to see very young kids spending time with a phone or tablet. Is that a good thing? Today in The Conversation Canada, we have a story that all parents should read. Dillon Thomas Browne of the University of Waterloo and Nicole Racine and Sheri Madigan of the University of Calgary report on their new research which found that children as young as two or three years who have higher levels of screen time face developmental delays as they get older.

That’s just one of several great reads we have for you this Tuesday.

And finally…it was 50 years ago that the Beatles played in public for the last time. Robert Morrison of Queen’s University takes us back to the famous rooftop concert in 1969. Do you know what songs they played? And who was the “fifth Beatle” that played with them that day?
