A spry and lively Crofton House School celebrated its 115th birthday in March, and there was no shortage of goings-on to honour the occasion. Along with the Alumnae Association's AGM and Luncheon, Lauren Wilkinson '07 was awarded the Association's achievement award. We had the pleasure of interviewing her, along with Alumnae Association executive president, Dr. Christine (Wong) Applegarth '92. We also talked to some members of the class of 2003, a group that has the rare distinction of having produced a full fifteen graduates who went on to either medicine or dentistry!

Don't forget that the Crofton House Alumnae Association will be putting on the 3rd Annual Inspiring Women event, hosted by Radio and TV personality Vicki Gabereau, on April 17th. The evening's alumnae guests, Tessa Cherniavsky (1975), Elena Juatco (2003), and Lana Sutherland (1986), will talk about their exceptional careers and what others can do to make the most of their endeavours.

This year Crofton House's birthday coincided with International Women's Day. It was a fitting occasion for the school to both celebrate the strength of women worldwide and reflect on the progress still to be made when it comes to women's rights.
