‘Internet of Things’ cluster will be established for the mining and energy resources sector

On January 4, Manufacturing and Innovation Minister Kyam Maher announced $250,000 of funding will be allocated per year over three years to develop a cluster designed to connect machines, devices and people to streamline the flow of information and to allow real-time decisions.

Upper Spencer Gulf and Outback Futures Program

The Upper Spencer Gulf and Outback Futures Program supports projects resulting in economic growth and employment outcomes and the provision of critical community infrastructure in the area.

Grant funding is available between $50,000 and $200,000 for small projects in the eligible area. Applications for the current round of funding close 26 February 2016.

The 2016 South Australian Women in Resources Awards nominations opened on Monday, 18 January 2016, closing at 5pm on Friday, 4 March 2016. Winners will be announced at SACOME’s Lunch Series event on Thursday, 19 May 2016.
