From hot air ballooning in the Himalayas, to meeting the Queen, and securing David Beckham as the final Olympic torch bearer, nothing could have prepared Di Henry, London 2012 celebrations organiser, for the challenges and experiences she has encountered in her career. “I would have liked to have seen a variety of careers spelled out on the blackboard. But I don’t suppose I would have spotted ‘major events sport organiser’ written down anywhere,” Henry says.
