ScopioVet Digital Cytology System now available at Anderson Moores Anderson Moores is one of just two practices in the UK to install the new ScopioVet Digital Cytology System. The service is active 24/7, 365 days a year, often allowing us to diagnose and treat problems more quickly. Commenting on the ScopioVet Digital Cytology System, Anderson Moores Director, David Walker, said; Scopio allows us to provide clients with cytology results approximately one hour after samples are taken with the confidence that the slides have been looked at by a specialist clinical pathologist. This often allows us to provide a diagnosis to clients within only a few hours of their
arrival at Anderson Moores. Dog blood donor session at Anderson Moores – 5th July To help Pet Blood Bank find more donors to join their life-saving community, we're delighted to be hosting a blood donor session for dogs at Anderson Moores, between 9am – 3pm, on Sunday 5th July. If you would like to register a dog as a donor or would like more information, please contact info@andersonmoore.com. Dermatology referrals Please note that we're able to provide dermatology referrals using a combination of direct examination and teleconsults. Well done to Dave Casson, Dani Masian and Bruno Lopes from Anderson Moores, who all braved the clippers recently and removed their lockdown locks to help raise money for mental health charity, Mind. We think you all look great! So far, they have raised an impressive £530!! Fixing Louis' femur Louis was referred to Anderson Moores in November last year after becoming lame on his left hind leg. Louis had a fracture repair performed on the leg in 2015 so his owners were understandably worried that something had gone wrong. Radiographs were taken which revealed a problem and Louis required surgical correction to remove the old implants and insert new implants.
