Hi everyone!

Keeping this week's intro short 'n' snappy. I'm working away on issue 14 while enjoying random shots of issue 13 pop up on Instagram and Twitter. If you haven't done so, share your reading experience on Instagram and tag me with @offscreenmag. Of course, if you haven't bought a copy, you can do so here.

My favourite read over the weekend was 'On San Francisco’s Quantified Self-Delusion', and my favourite quote is: "Adulting means demonstrating compassion, even if no one’s willing to pay you for it."

Have a great week!

Kai

This Weekʼs Line-Up

A foldable keyboard for your iPhone
01

This tiny, foldable iPhone keyboard might seem a bit silly at first, but there were numerous occasions when I was travelling and inspiration for a blog post struck me, yet the idea of typing on the iPhone instantly put me off. It's just extremely frustrating for people with Wrack-It Ralph-sized hands like myself.

A music player to enhance your focus
02

There are a ton of apps out there that claim to enhance your focus by, for instance, changing what you see on your screen or blocking certain web content. Brain.fm takes an audio-based approach. After filling out their questionnaire, the app generates audio sounds that – according to their research – will help you focus, relax, or sleep. I'm sceptical (as I always am) but I want to give this a try later this week.

A collapsible hardcase suitcase
03

Another interesting luggage concept currently being kickstarted. The Néit is fully collapsible and can be hung in your closet or stored under your bed. It also has a GPS tracker, a feature that I wish came as a default with all luggage these days.

A time-tracker app for Mac/iOS
04

If you need to track your time spent on tasks for various projects and clients, Tyme is one of the most beautiful and easy ways for doing so. The screenshots almost make me want to go back to client work. :-P

An innovative bike rack
05

We recently installed four Steadyracks for easier bike storage at our shared office and everyone loves them. Although we rarely make use of one of its main features: you can fold the bike (while on its rack) to either side saving even more space.

An impromptu mockup tool
06

quickMockup delivers what it says in the name: need a quick mockup of an idea but don't want to sign up for a service (and pay a fee)? Open the site and mockup away!
