Are you HSE ready?
1 day Legionella Control training for Duty Holders & Responsible Persons (10 CPD)
Level 3 (QCF) Award
Thursday,19 June - North West - Widnes
£395 plus VAT per person
Due to increased employer demand following the recent revision of the ACOP L8 and production of new guidance HSG 274 by the HSE, we are repeating this one day course on Legionella Control in the North West.
This training is aimed at Duty Holders, Directors and Senior Managers with the overall responsibility and authority to shutdown a site in the event of an emergency.
The HSE Brief Guide for Dutyholders together with the combined Legionella Control Association and Health & Safety Executive Dutyholder seminars would indicate that in the future, HSE & EHO inspectors may be focusing attention initially on the legal duties of organisations, employers and nominated responsible people and not on sub contracted services e.g. facilities management, maintainence and/or water treatment and legionalla control service provider companies.
The Qualification specification Legionella Control for Responsible Persons will assess candidates’ knowledge and understanding through completion of a workbook during three sessions throughout the day. All delegates will be expected to complete a knowledge assessment and will also receive certification of training bearing the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) logo for CPD. In House enquiries welcome.
Click here for more information or call our team on 01325 740 902.

This course is managed by the National Skills Academy Process Industries. This is not to be confused with lower level training courses for legionella awareness, management or control methods. You can see these on the Sklllstore.
