Upcoming Week
Bible – Our study this week will be on Paul and Silas. Our verse is: Acts 16:31 “So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved – you and your household.”
Reading – Our story will be “Two of Everything.” Our skill will be Character.
Spelling – Words with long vowels ai, ay, igh, y. aim snail bay braid ray always gain sly chain shy bright fright tray try contain thigh
Grammar – Possessive Pronouns
Math – This week we will add thousand’s place in adding and subtracting with renaming and word problems
Important Dates
May 11th- Field Day and Slip and Slide- Every second grader needs to bring 3 packs of hot dog buns (24 buns per child) by May 10th. All students need to bring a towel, water bottle, and extra pair of clothes if they are going to extended care. Students need to wear their purple field trip shirt with dress code shorts and tennis shoes.
May 12th- Field trip to main campus to see 5th grade musical. Students need to wear a spirit shirt.
May 19th- No school
May 24th – Last Day of School and Awards Day! School will be dismissed immediately after the awards program –NO EXTENDED CARE
August 14th- First day of school for next year
