Contact: Jared King ***LEGISLATIVE ALERT*** Agreement Reached on Surface Transportation Bill WASHINGTON—House and Senate conferees today have agreed to terms in the surface transportation bill. The surface transportation bill will fund highway programs through 2014. Details of the bill will not be available until late tonight according to reports on Capitol Hill. The Navajo Nation Washington Office will continue to report on the surface transportation authorization as the information becomes available. ###
