Greetings from your Community BoardMessage from the ChairKia ora everyone, Highlights from our latest meetingOur Community Board met on Tuesday 16 June. Some highlights of our meeting included approving funding for a number of community groups, including the Halswell Toy Library, Community Patrol Riccarton, Canterbury Regional Basketball Foundation, Hornby Netball Club and Templeton Residents' Association. You can read more about and apply for community funding here. We also approved a proposal to install a bus passenger
shelter at the existing bus stop by 79 Clyde Road, which will provide a sheltered waiting area for commuters. Following extensive community engagement, our Board is recommending that the Council approve a speed limit change within the Riccarton suburban centre area and adjoining residential streets.
