10 little piggies

Hello.

The fall is a wonderful time for
reaping the harvest of what we have sown.
The rustling of the leaves and changing colors
have a beauty all their own.

So here is a question for you:

Just imagine how many hours per day you spend on your feet?

Some of us 5-7 hours, some of us 7-9, and even less of us; 9-12 or more...

It's a small miracle our feet don't hurt more.

The ten little piggies are neglected for the most part; covered with socks or stockings, placed in leather,  and then it’s off to work you little guys go.  They are expected to work all the time, upon command and exactly when you say so.

All day they sit in your leather or canvas shoes, bouncing off the city streets, seeing things from street level; many of which are most unpleasant to the nose, and accidentally bumped into chairs, shelves, stairs and things.  Those poor little piggies.

When they get tired and are neglected too long they start a rebellion.  This little act of defiance arrives not as a form of some well postulated theoretical political stance but, from shear exhaustion and repeated neglect.  They need love just like we do; those poor little piggies.

This is just a fun little example to illustrate:

Why you choose a Holistic Podiatrist.

My practice brings a new perspective to things.

Don't worry.... I’m not thinking the about the Ten Little Pigs when you come in for an appointment.  In fact, I take my practice very seriously, especially when one is experiencing any kind of pain.  Pain is an indicator that something is out of balance- actually it's a message.

Something new...

My assessment process is very rigorous and the feet are an indication of what is going on in the entire body. These ‘ten little pigs’ are not independent beings.  They are a part of the whole being and where the term Holistic Podiatry stems from.

We podiatrists understand that the nerve endings on the entire base and top of the feet are an indication as to what is going on, not just in the feet but, in the entire body.  The tips of your toes and its nerve endings are connected to you right up until the top of your head.  This is where the brain says “you have pain in your foot”.

Viewing the entire being in this way is what is meant by the term “holistic.”

I would love to see you
to try out a new assessment
process -- developed for you.

Again, no questions are silly or irrelevant.

Questions are always welcomed.

.

When you come in for an Assessment, this is what you receive:

An in-depth look at your
past history and experiences
that have brought you to this
moment in time -- right now

1) a complete physical exam

2) a symptom survey gives more information: possible sources of imbalances, existing in the body, contributing to your feet issues

3) a look outside the box at the mental, emotional and spiritual causes of dis-ease within the body

4) How the chakrah system relates to the root cause of your problem

5) a food/diet discussion -- an important part -- reduces inflammation as the primary cause of pain and discomfort

6) a safe and nurturing atmosphere with a doctor that truly listens and helps creates an environment for healing to spontaneously occur

If you have a friend that would be interested in receiving my '5 Foot Tips', please let me know and I will place them on a special list for more information.
