It's been a ripper month in online resources for youth mental health!
We have a new tool for recovery to share, and we had an amazing discussion with young people about seeking help that's well worth a read. Best yet - we're proud to announce a new guide for using technology in youth services that we were a partner in developing.
Can't wait for the monthly newsletters? You can also like us on Facebook to get more regular updates on tools you can use to support young people.
SuperBetter: Resilience game & iPhone app
SuperBetter is an online 'game' and iPhone app designed to help young people recover from major health and wellbeing setbacks, by recruiting friends as 'allies' and using missions to stay motivated.
Online forum: Seeking professional help for the first time
Recently we were joined on the ReachOut.com Forums by a special guest from Twenty10 - a youth sexuality and gender support service. Together with ReachOut.com they hosted a session on seeking help from a professional for the first time.
The discussion has received more comments than any other session with a professional on the forums.
Following the successful launch webinar on 28 April, the Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre have released a new better practice guide to using technology in youth services.
