July 2016

Beat the winter chill with our indoor programs at Australian Design Centre -  we have lots on to keep you warm!

We are delighted to announce that Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery has acquired our national touring exhibition Lola Greeno: Cultural Jewels. The announcement was made last week in Launceston, with living treasure Lola Greeno and ADC Director Lisa Cahill in attendance. You can read more about the acquisition here.

Opening on Thursday 28 July is our new exhibition, Clay Intersections. Presenting the work of eight contemporary makers, Clay Intersections explores varied approaches to making and working with clay. The exhibition is a temporary part of Sydney's vibrant ceramics community including studios, educators, galleries and stores. We invite you to take part in a series of workshops and events.

Our exhibition Shapeshifters: 3D Printing the Future is open until 20 July – don’t miss out on seeing this innovative show before it starts the national tour.

We look forward to seeing you at the gallery soon or at one of our exhibitions around Australia.
