The Yolocaust project, which juxtaposed photographs of people enjoying themselves at the Berlin Holocaust Memorial against mountains of dead bodies in concentration camps went viral just as Germany prepared to mark International Holocaust Memorial day.

Irit Dekel had studied the way visitors behave at the Berlin memorial, and argues that there's a lot more to the site than selfie-taking and public shaming.
