Cornucopia: So wild you can taste it.

Whistler, B.C. – Tickets are now on sale for Cornucopia, Whistler’s most anticipated celebration of food and drink.

With just over two decades of providing guests with a tantalizing array of events, Cornucopia presented by BlueShore Financial has undeniably become THE fall tradition for locals and visitors alike. Taking place from November 7 – 17, 2019, the festival offers food and drink tastings, intimate wine dinners, educational and entertaining luncheons, culinary demonstrations, spirited parties and seminars.

The highly-anticipated Cornucopia Signature Tastings return to the schedule with an exciting new addition. Organizers are thrilled to announce Sashay Fillet! Whistler debuting Thursday, November 14. This dynamic and lively new event is sure to add a new level of vibrancy to the fan favourites Signature Tastings roster which includes: House Party: Best of BC, Cellar Door Grand Tasting, CRUSH Grand Tasting, Night Market, Poured and With a Twist: Silent Disco. 

Created by the innovative minds at EatNorth -Sashay Fillet! is a unique culinary event that has brought together the worlds of food and drag at multiple cities across Canada. Sashay Fillet! Whistler will be co-hosted by yet-to-be-announced personalities from RuPaul’s Drag Race and Top Chef Canada for a night to remember.

Festival goers can take advantage of outstanding value when pairing accommodation with tickets to CRUSH, Cellar Door or Poured. Starting at just $95 per person, per night these select packages average less than the cost of a signature event ticket and with events being added throughout the summer – guests can certainly enjoy a full weekend of food and drink experiences.

Cornucopia official charity for 2019 is Friends of the Whistler Public Library.

The Friends of the Whistler Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the library by assisting the staff and board in a variety of ways – from fundraising through community events such as book and plant sales to volunteering at the library.

The Whistler Public Library Association was formed in December 1985 by a dedicated group of community minded citizens. From humble beginnings in the basement of Municipal Hall in 1986 to doubling its space in 1994 in Village North, the library made its final move in 2008. The new Whistler Public Library opened the doors of its spectacular new permanent home on January 26, 2008.

The Whistler Public Library is one of the busiest in the province and serves as a community hub for locals, seasonals, and visitors. Various programs are offered to the community such as weekly story times for preschoolers, summer reading clubs, free legal seminars, monthly movie night, slide shows and author readings. Well-known authors who have visited the Library include W.P. Kinsella, L.R. Wright, George Bowering, Crawford Kilian, Anne Cameron, Susan Musgrave, Andreas Schroeder, Stephen Reid, Spider and Jeanne Robinson, Laurence Gough and Paul Tennant.


Cornucopia, presented by BlueShore Financial is Whistler’s Celebration of Food + Drink. The dazzling eleven-day display of gourmet food and drink attracts over 7,700 visitors to the resort and caters to everyone from amateur enthusiasts to aficionados. Respected industry professionals, judges and presenters headline each event, seminar and tasting, offering the best possible opportunity to garner as much information and insight as possible.
