Nuclear Citizen's Jury One completedThe Nuclear Fuel Cycle Royal Commission first Citizen's Jury was held over 25/26 June and 9/10 July. The jury of 50 randomly selected South Australian citizens discussed South Australia’s future role in the nuclear industry over the two weekends. The Citizen's Jury Report, a video library, photo gallery and other useful information is now available for review at nuclear.yoursay.sa.gov.au |
Australian METS Sector Competitiveness plan draft completedThe first draft of the plan to enhance the competitive advantage of the Australian mining equipment, technology and services (METS) sector has been completed by METS Ignited. A consultation process will now begin. |
$20 million promised for locally-led Regional Jobs and Investment Package in the Upper Spencer Gulf.
Liberal Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey and Senator for South Australia Simon Birmingham made the announcement that a re-elected Turnbull-Joyce Government would invest $20 million into the Upper Spencer Gulf on 28 June. With re-election now confirmed the package should move forward.
