A team of Southern Delivery System (SDS) staff and members of Archer Western Construction, a SDS contractor, spread some holiday cheer on December 14 by partnering with the Pueblo Habitat for Humanity. About 20 people building the SDS raw water pump station gathered at a Pueblo home to donate their time and skills for a family in need. Workers spent the day installing a cedar fence and assisting with landscape projects.
SDS has partnered with Pueblo Habitat for Humanity before as workers teamed with the charity in 2010 to donate cabinets and materials from homes that were purchased along the project's alignment. The partnerships are another way SDS and its contractors are giving back to the Pueblo community.
