A note from Chef Noah Folks who live here year round relish this time. Less traffic on weekends; for only a brief moment, really. Come late September there’ll be a throng of people visiting for pumpkin picking, vineyard hopping and taking walks along country roads inhaling the sweet, smoky smell of the autumn air. I love this time. We cook up the continuing bounty of vegetables until the fields are picked empty. Time to savor the last corn and tomatoes and anticipate the winter squash and hearty fare that will come. The fishermen never disappoint us. In fact, they and our local farmers surprise us. Our menu changes with some regularity now as we wonder how the weather — the sun, the tides, and the tropical storm season treats our mariners and growers. What will they be sharing with us? Blackfish? Fluke? Cauliflower? Late season tomatoes and squash? Let us surprise you. Join us when you can linger at the bar on a weeknight for happy hour that becomes a dinner of small plates and seasonal cocktails. Sit on the patio for brunch on Saturday or Sunday and watch the merry-go-round and hear the sounds of the harbor. Plan a dinner with your friends. A date night without the kids. We’re here.
