Exactly how long does it take to secure an in-house corporate communications role?

Finding a job isn’t always easy and it can take time and energy, as well as a proactive approach.  There are a number of key factors to consider when choosing a prospective employer – the type of company and its culture, the right job title, a good level of responsibility, an inspiring boss, a collegiate team, a company which values communications, a convenient location and of course, the right level of compensation.  This means you may need to ‘try on’ a few roles before you find ‘a great fit’, but exactly how long does this take?
