2nd Grade eNews

We are still working hard and enjoying our last few weeks together!

• Bible - Our study this week will be on Paul and Silas.
• Bible Verse is - Acts 16:31, “So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved – you and your household.”
• Reading - Our story will be “Now & Ben.” Our skill will be Compare and Contrast. We will also research some inventors and inventions this week.
• Spelling - Words with long vowels sounds using oa, ow, ee, ea - seated   keeps   speed   seen   means   clean   groan   roast   bowls   crow   owe   grown   green   snow  
• Grammar - Choosing between adjectives and adverbs
• Math - We will start a new chapter over place value with 4-digit numbers.

Shiloh Christian School has a unique opportunity to come together on one night for one purpose! NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS will be held May 14th at 6:15 pm in the SEC Gym. We are asking you to attend this special night to invest in the future of your school Shiloh Christian.  

The goal of this one night, two-hour event is to celebrate what we have accomplished and vision cast for the future! The evening will be incredible as you will hear from your students through various testimonies and performances as well as your Shiloh leadership team.

• May 6 - Students may bring a $1 or more donation for the Teacher Compassion Fund and wear Spirit Dress
• May 9 - We will go to the Springdale campus to see the 5th grade musical, Oklahoma
• May 14 - Night of Champions Fundraising Dinner @ 6:15 pm in the SEC Gym
• May 20 - Field Day and water slide, more information to come
• May 22 - Last day of school. We will have our awards assembly at 8:15 and dismiss right after. No extended care.
