On May 3rd, from Midnight to Midnight, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation will be participating in The Great Give of Palm Beach and Martin Counties. This is a 24-hour online giving event sponsored by the United Way of both Palm Beach and Martin Counties and led by the Community Foundation. It's all part of the largest online giving event in history, Give Local America. Nearly 200 communities across the country will raise millions of dollars for the greater good - all on a single day!
This community-wide event will celebrate the spirit of giving and the collective effort it takes to strengthen our community while raising critical funds for local nonprofits. Every donation will be stretched further if you donate to the Foundation by clicking on the "Great Give" icon. The donation period is from midnight until midnight, Tuesday, May 3rd. Gifts made that day will receive a portion of bonus funds - making your dollar go even further than it would on any other day. We hope you will consider supporting us on May 3, and please remember - 24-hours can change your community and It takes a community effort to keep us safe!
BONUS POOL
One of the most exciting aspects of the Great Give is that every local gift made during the 24-hour period is amplified by additional dollars from a bonus pool raised by the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. The bonus funds will be distributed to all participating nonprofits based on the percentage of the total they raise on that day.
For nearly 10 years, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation has helped ensure that our Palm Beach Gardens Police Department has the Equipment, Training, and Technology it needs to keep us safe. In addition, we sponsor numerous community-wide events aimed at Crime Prevention and developing a more positive relationship between police officers and the youth of Palm Beach Gardens.
