Scams can be really hard to detect but there are certain things to look out for and keep in mind.
One common scam type is when a person calls you claiming to be a representative of a financial institution, attempting to gain access to your account information.
You can always be sure that Bank of us will never request personal information such as your PIN or Internet Banking password over the phone. If you are ever unsure about the source of a call, hang up and phone us on 1300 306 716 to validate the caller's details.
