Deadline to apply is Sept. 20.

The National Press Foundation is offering an opportunity for 20 journalists to take a deep look at the criminal justice system.

Over three days, NPF training will address: incarceration data, pre-trial justice, violence and weapons, implementation of the First Step Act, incarceration impact on families, re-entry into society, and more. With this background, journalists will then cover the four-day American Society of Criminology annual conference, with full access to presenters and abstracts.
