August is a huge month for Junior Golf with the ACT hosting the National Schools Championships.  Many of the local clubs and golfing community are involved.  See below for details.

Important News for ACT School Students aged 12 and under! The Primary Schools Golf Championship will be held on 17 September 2015 at a venue to be confirmed.  This event is the selection trial for the inaugral ACT Primary Schools representative team to travel to Newcastle in November.  For more information see below.

ACT Boys at the Interstate Series

July Junior Week of Golf

School holidays in the ACT Monaro are never dull.  Plenty of golfing opportunites were taken by local and visiting juniors in the week of golf held in July at various district courses.  Thank you to the many volunteers who assisted in the running of the event. Check out the full report here.

Opportunity to Represent ACT in 12 and Under Golf Championships

On Thursday 17th September, the School Sport ACT 12 and Under Golf Championships will be held at a venue to be confirmed. This event will be the selection trial for the inaugral ACT Golf team to represent the ACT at the National Championships in November at Newcastle Golf Club.  You must be 12 and under and have a Golf Australia handicap to be eligible for selection.

Partnership Between Schools and Golf Clubs

CSGA Girls Golf Program

The CSGA Girls Golf Program has been a great success providing benefits for local girls, local clubs and local Professionals.  To find out how the program was delivered click here.

JNJG Junior AM Raises $8,500

Thanks to the help of generous sponsors and golf clubs JNJG and Golf NSW managed to raise $8,500 to develop junior golf in the host region of the Subaru State Championships.  This is the second year JNJG has hosted this event and it is a promising sign for the future with participants, sponsors and local club members enjoying a great day out. Spring and Davidson Claim Honours at State Championships

The Subaru State Championships is one of the biggest events on the JNJG Tournament Calendar but unfortunately this year the silverware travelled home with Kiwi Henry Spring and Queenslander Karis Davidson.  Check out all the action from this year’s championship hosted by the Illawarra Region by clicking here.

2015 Junior Masters Series Continues to Thrive

As we reach the second half of the year the JNJG Junior Masters Series continues to attract a large number of junior golfers.  In May and June we hosted two more events at Kew Country Club and Campbelltown Golf Club.  Read all about these events by clicking the links below:
