General Drive Entrance Shines for the Holidays ![]() The Championship POA originally planned to complete the renovations at the General Drive entrance by late September or early October. However, unforeseen delays caused by two major hurricanes in the area disrupted material deliveries, preventing us from finishing in time for our holiday lighting contractor to include the site in their plans. Despite these setbacks, the entrance received a festive touch for the holiday season, thanks to the creativity and dedication of two members of our Board of Directors. Patti Rosen of Eagleton Estates and Mary Mottle of Augusta Pointe stepped up to ensure the area reflected the holiday spirit. They took the time to shop for and carefully place beautiful wreaths, garland, and decorative lighting, transforming the newly renovated resident-only access into a welcoming and cheerful space. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Patti and Mary for their thoughtful efforts. Their contributions brought a festive charm to the General Drive entrance, showcasing the community spirit that makes Eagleton so special. PGA National Achieves Significant Crime Reduction in 2024 According to St. Moritz Security, PGA National's security provider, 2024 brought a substantial decrease in major crimes within our community. Reported incidents within all of PGA National included just one auto burglary, three residential burglaries, no stolen vehicles, and four acts of vandalism — a sharp decline compared to 2023. ![]() This positive trend is the result of a collaborative effort between proactive security measures, resident vigilance, and the adoption of modern technology. Regular patrolling, enhanced by advancements such as surveillance systems and smart home devices, has made it increasingly difficult for criminal activity to go unnoticed. Meanwhile, active community involvement, including the prompt reporting of suspicious activity, continues to be an invaluable component of crime prevention. Sustaining these efforts is key to preserving the safety and quality of life in Eagleton and PGA National. Residents are encouraged to remain engaged and proactive in safeguarding our neighborhood. If you see something concerning, don't hesitate to report it to security at 561-627-1600. By working together, we can ensure that PGA National and Eagleton remain safe, secure residential areas for everyone.
