About the Show:

Kiara has gone AWOL for the first time. She comes upon an abandoned building where she hopes to spend the night. But she is not alone. Soon she meets MarlenĂ© and friends who take her back in time to witness tales of family, friendship, loss, despair, and more. Kiara wants to run again; she also wants to see what happens next. Will they survive? Will the future be different? Or will life always be this way? A simple “place for the night” becomes much more as Kiara learns from MarlenĂ© and her friends what it means to be young and in foster care.

Don't miss this powerful show, written and performed by a diverse group of teenagers from the stories of their lives and their vision for change!
