AFAO wishes all our members, friends and supporters an enjoyable and relaxing festive season and thanks you for your continued support this year. Below we share some of our 2011 highlights with you.

The AFAO website redevelopment was completed this year and the new site was launched at our AGM in November. Pictured above are AFAO Communications Officer Finn O'Keefe and model Jinny at the photoshoot we organised to produce original pictures for the new site.

Sarita (Finance Controller) introduced a range of reforms to financial processes within AFAO, and the team also assisted with migrating content to the new AFAO website and provided ongoing administrative support to the Anwernekenhe National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HIV/AIDS Alliance (ANA) and the Anwernekenhe 5 Conference.

In May, AFAO hosted a national community forum following on from a series of consultations with sub-Saharan African communities around Australia. The conference report is available on request.
