Modo at the Eastside Culture Crawl

From November 19–22, the 19th annual Eastside Culture Crawl will turn East Van into a huge visual arts, design and crafts festival with over 447 artists showcasing in 79 locations (see our Modo Artist Spotlight below). As proud, continuing Culture Crawl sponsors, we've secured two VIP Parking Spots in front of the 1000 Parker Street Studios and Espressotec to make your Crawl a little easier — look for our sign!

Not driving? We'll also have our free Crawl Shuttle which will be visiting studios throughout East Van. Meet at our pickup point outside 1000 Parker and grab a ride every half hour from our Modo volunteers!

Modo Moves

Lower Mainland

Burnaby — Edmonds

UPGRADE: There's now a 2013 grey Nissan Sentra at Salisbury & Edmonds instead of a 2009 Cube.

UBC — Main Campus

LOCATION MOVE & UPGRADE: We've upgraded our Walter Gage Road car from a 2011 Honda CRV to a 2015 orange Scion FR-S (#685), and moved it a block closer to Wesbrook Mall. You can now find the car in a designated stall on the south side of the road, 40 metres west of Wesbrook Mall, just before the roundabout.

Vancouver — Downtown

LOCATION MOVE: We no longer have a car at Granville Bridge (our old location underneath the bridge on Beach Crescent). Instead...

NEW LOCATION: Neon is a new rental building at 1388 Continental Street, next to the Granville Street Bridge, where we've placed a 2016 blue Kia Soul (#717) and a 2016 blue Scion FR-S (#724).

Vancouver — Fairview

UPGRADE: Willow & W 7th now features a 2015 yellow Jeep Renegade (#667) instead of a 2011 Honda CRV.

Vancouver — False Creek
UPGRADE:
Our Granville Island minivan is now a 2015 white Toyota Sienna minivan (#721).

Vancouver — Grandview–Woodland

UPGRADE: The Franklin car is now a 2016 white Toyota Corolla (#718) instead of a 2013 Nissan Sentra.

UPGRADE: At McGill Park, we've replaced the 2011 Mazda 2 hatchback with a 2015 white Toyota Sienna minivan (#721).

Vancouver — Kensington–Cedar Cottage

LOCATION MOVE: We've left our Inverness location and moved our 2009 silver Pontiac Vibe (#259) a couple blocks northwest, where it will be closer to more of our members in the neighbourhood. Find it at Glen & E 21st.

NEW LOCATION: We've added a 2011 green Mazda 2 hatchback (#379) next to Kingcrest Park, in the 4200 block of Dumfries Street between East King Edward and East 27th.

Vancouver — Kerrisdale
LOCATION MOVE:
After months of stressful parking at Yew & 40th, we've finally found a permanent home for our 2012 orange Toyota Prius C (#388). You can find it across from the Kerrisdale Arena — on East Boulevard, just north of W 41st Avenue. We have a designated stall in the gravel lot next to the train tracks.

Vancouver — Mount Pleasant

SECOND CAR: A 2007 orange Toyota Yaris hatch (#271) has joined the Dodge Grand Caravan at Alderwood.

Vancouver — Strathcona

UPGRADE: Keefer is now a 2016 red Kia Soul (#725) instead of a 2011 Toyota Corolla.

CAR CHANGE: The Mergatroid Building now hosts a 2012 white Dodge Grand Caravan (#411) instead of a 2010 blue one.

Vancouver — West End

UPGRADE: At Mole Hill, we've replaced the 2007 Toyota Yaris with a 2015 orange Jeep Renegade (#715). The orange Toyota Prius C is still there, too.

Vancouver — West Point Grey

CAR CHANGE: It was fun having a Scion FR-S at Sasamat & W 14th for a few months, but members asked for a more family-friendly car. So we've replaced it with a 2011 grey Honda CRV (#343).
