Sketch Videos is now Sketch Group.
Hi folks,
In the five years since I convinced my next door neighbour to help me shoot an illustrated video about the Federal Budget in his living room (we had to move the couch into the hallway to make room!) Sketch Videos has grown so much.
In that time we’ve added more talented illustrators to the team, researched the science behind why sketching is such a powerful tool, evolved new techniques for applying illustration in the workplace, and changed our process for shooting and editing our videos a gazillion times in our obsessive drive to refine, evolve, and innovate.
One of the results of this evolution is that, as many of you know, we now sketch much more than videos.
We're spending our time sketching posters and live events. We graphically record, facilitate, and visualise workshops, presentations, and panel conversations. We sketch slide decks, post cards, book sleeves, and more.
In short, we’re about so much more than videos. We’ve grown into a team that is devoted to transforming the way you communicate, with sketching at the very core of how we help.
It made sense to update our name to reflect this. Hence, Sketch Group.
New name. Same, great idea: smart, simple sketches that simplify the complex and bring your story to life—on film, on paper, or live at your event.

To successfully set the vision, plan the steps required, grow the team, and ultimately move from a one-man band to a medium-sized organisation, I spent quite a bit of time exploring what my company would look like in the future—visually, of course. It's what I do best!
The very act of drawing something—picking up a pen and committing lines to a canvas that represent your idea—is such a powerful envisioning tool.
