A Call for Speed Limit Adherence Within Eagleton

In Eagleton, where community bonds are cherished and safety is paramount, there is a growing concern that demands our immediate attention: the issue of speeding within our community.

Officer Greg Allen and the Traffic Unit from the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department has been diligently monitoring the main roadways of Eagleton, only to discover a disturbing trend of residents surpassing the posted 25 MPH speed limit.

It's disheartening to note that a significant portion of these speed violators are, in fact, residents of our very own Eagleton community. Of particular concern is the excessive speed at which many residents traverse through the front resident lane, creating a challenging environment for the residents of Eagleton Estates to exit their community safely.

As we approach the influx of seasonal residents returning, the volume of traffic within our community is on the rise. Unfortunately, so is the number of speeders. The consequences of this behavior extend beyond mere inconvenience - they pose a genuine threat to the safety and well-being of everyone in Eagleton.

While the main entry off of Ryder Cup Boulevard serves as a focal point for many of these speeding incidents, the problems also exist on the departing lanes and all along General Drive in both directions. It is crucial for residents to recognize the impact of their bad driving habits on the overall safety of our community. By adhering to or, better yet, staying below the posted speed limit, we can collectively contribute to a safer and more secure Eagleton.

To ensure the continued harmony of our community, it is imperative that each resident takes personal responsibility for their driving behavior. Let us be mindful of our speed, stay at or below the posted limits, and watch out for both pedestrians and bicyclists. Together, we can make Eagleton a model community where safety and consideration for one another prevail.

A Big Thank You to the Landscape Teams!

As we approach the festive holiday season, let's all take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of all the various landscape teams within big Eagleton. Be it POA or HOA, their tireless efforts have contributed significantly to the ongoing beauty and serenity of our community.

Our landscape teams have been hard at work throughout the year, ensuring that our surroundings remain lush, vibrant, and well-maintained for the enjoyment of all residents. Their commitment to excellence has not gone unnoticed, and we are immensely grateful for the attention to detail they bring to every corner of our neighborhood.

As we gear up for the upcoming holiday season, you may have noticed the numerous preparations underway. While the majority of the landscaping is already in pristine condition, there's even more to look forward to. Our landscape teams have exciting plans to enhance the holiday spirit by incorporating seasonal plants and flowers throughout the community.

It's important to note that the teams are diligently coordinating with suppliers to bring in a variety of festive flora. Due to the seasonal nature of these plants, some installations are still in the pipeline and will be rolled out as soon as they become available. Your patience is always appreciated as we work to make our community even more enchanting for the holidays.

Once again, a big thank you to the numerous landscape teams for their unwavering dedication. Their passion for creating a picturesque environment for all of us to enjoy is truly commendable. Let's all take a moment to appreciate the beauty they bring to our doorstep, making Eagleton a place we are all proud to call home.

Wishing you all a joyful and festive holiday season!

Keeping Safe and Secure in a Gated Community

Guest article by Gail Coppage, PGA-POA, for the CAN Newspaper

Feeling secure in a gated community such as PGA National is one attribute that so many residents appreciate in deciding to live here.

Please know that while we have an excellent security force patrolling all of PGA National 24/7, we all need to do our part as residents to keep our area safe and secure.

What are things you can do?

  • Keep your car doors locked (with the key/fob removed from the car)
  • Keep your garage doors closed
  • Plan for packages being delivered to your home
  • Keep an eye out in your neighborhood for anything that looks out of the ordinary or suspicious.

Together, with the St. Moritz PGA National security force, we can remain safe and smart as a gated community.
