- Deep Clean Planned -
The week commencing 5th April there will be a series of deep cleaning sessions in the city centre.
Over the last 12 months Gloucester City Council have been working hard with Amey to increase the level and frequency of cleaning in the city centre. This will continue and in the week prior to Step 2 of the road-map two deep cleans with the 'scrub deck' are planned.
If there are places that you think need a bit more of a scrub, please let us know and we can arrange for another clean.
RESTART GRANTS - announced by the Government recently as an additional support grant to assist businesses with re-opening in April.
If your business is in the rating list and is non essential retail, a restart grant may be due as follows:
If the Rateable Value of the business premises is exactly, or less than, £15k, a restart grant of £2,667 may be paid
If the Rateable Value of the business premises is between £15k and £51k, a restart grant of £4,000 may be paid
If the Rateable Value of the business premises is more than £51k, a restart grant of £6,000 may be paid
