But ‘productivity’ tools are, it turns out, far from productive for business, or for those at the coal face. In fact, a new report says we’re losing an hour a day just switching between apps. And then there’s the interruption factor as well. Turns out an overload of apps is creating knowledge silos and creating confusion and mistakes – though I suspect many of us didn’t need a report to tell us that.
