• 1 - 2 tablespoons peanut butter
• 1 small red apple, chopped
Toppings
• 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
• 2 - 4 teaspoons honey (to taste)
Instructions
1. In a bowl or container, mix together the rolled oats, yogurt, milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Stir in the peanut butter and chopped apple.
2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap (or put the lid on the container) and leave in the fridge overnight.

General Mills Recall

As you may have heard, earlier this month General Mills recalled some of their production of Cherrios and Honey Nut Cherrios. The issue stemmed from an isolated incident resulting from wheat flour being inadvertently introduced into the gluten free oat flour system at its Lodi facility. As a result, the products may contain an undeclared allergen – wheat – in products labeled as gluten-free.

For more information about this recall, please click here.

Gluten in Medicine Identification Act

Sep 30, 2015 - Representatives Tim Ryan (OH-13) and Nita Lowey (NY-17) introduced the Gluten in Medicine Identification Act.

People need to be able to trust that the medicine they are prescribed will improve their health, not worsen it,” said Representative Ryan. “Celiac disease is a growing issue in our country and those suffering have the right to know if their medicine contains ingredients that are adverse to their health.
