Inter-American Division Camporee
From April 19-24, in Mexico City, Mexico, the Inter-American Division held their 3rd division-wide Pathfinder Camporee. Our CYE Assistant Director was there to report on the event:
The Inter-America Division Camporee’s theme, “Conquering Giants,” inspired the nearly 20,000 Pathfinders that attended the event. This was the first Division-wide camporee in 13 years, and leaders across the administrative levels were eager to see how Pathfinders would respond. As I participated in the various areas of the Camporee, I can tell you the Pathfinders experienced revival and a renewed commitment to “Conquer Giants.”
Support for this event came from every level of the church structure. Both current GC Youth directors, Gilbert Cangy and Jonatàn Tejel, and former GC Youth Directors, Baraka Muganda and Alfredo Garcia, along with Jose Rojas, were the featured speakers for the week. During the Inauguration Service, nearly all of the IAD department leaders were present, both participating and taking leadership, to execute an across-the-board effort to support young people. These Pathfinders sensed the historical significance of the moment when five generations of IAD Youth Directors took the stage offering their appeal and affirmation for the Pathfinders to “Conquer Giants.”
The week was full of Pathfinder activities, such as prayer, praise, honors, sports, fellowship, and service. As I walked between campsites, it was clear that IAD was diverse in cultures and language, but unified for the cause of Christ to see these young people equipped to herald Christ’s coming.

In the March 25, 2011, issue of the International Camporee newsletter, 7Day Wear was featured as an option for Pathfinder Clubs to design their own T-shirts. The following clarification was not included, but should have been:
