What a great state we live in! We have learned so much about Arkansas and saw fun things we can find, grow or raise in Arkansas. Please remember to send a coat with your child each day.

Next Week

Unit Study: We will learn about maps.
Show and Tell: Students will bring home a coloring map of the United States. Your child will need to color Arkansas red and then color each state that they have visited. They will share about their visits during Show & Tell.
Bible: We will continue studying Christ’s life and ministry.
Bible Verse: “He who loves God must love his brother also.” - 1 John 4:21
Reading: We will begin learning “r” blends (dr- as in drip, gr- as in grab, etc.), learn and review sight words, and continue guided readers.
Math: We will continue learning about 3D shapes (sphere, cylinder, etc.).

Discover Shiloh Dinner Event

Start telling your family and friends about our Discover Shiloh Dinner Event coming Tuesday evening, February 19th from 6:00 pm - 7: 30 pm! This is a great opportunity to learn about Shiloh, hear from our leadership, and visit with current students, families, and teachers. Important Dates

February 13th - Crazy Hair Day for $1 (benefits LLS)
February 14th - Valentine Parties from 2:30-3:00. Each child will need to bring a decorated box or bag sometime on or before the party day. Students may wear Valentine's t-shirt, sweater, or sweatshirt and dress code bottoms (khaki or jeans).
February 18th - No School, President's Day
February 19th - Discover Shiloh in CCS Kid's Theatre @ 6:00 pm. Please share with families who might be interested in learning more about Shiloh.
February 20th - PJ Day for $1 (benefits LLS)
February 27th - Free Dress Day for $1 (benefits LLS)
March 1st - Art Fair and Morning with Mom
March 6th - Spring Pictures (free dress UP day)
March 14th - Student-Led Conferences (More info to come.)
