The Driveline Premier

When E.F. Hutton talks…People listen!

And when our customers talk, WE listen!

We work hard every single day to be the premier provider of world-class driveline solutions for each one of our customers.  That means that it is our goal to give our customers the tools and solutions they need to help them do their jobs with greater ease and efficiency.

For many years now, Transmission Digest has hosted the popular Top 10 contest.  This contest acknowledges the year’s best tools and products available to transmission repair facilities.  Nominations for 2012 were announced in Transmission Digest’s October 2011 issue, customers voted for their favorites, and the results were announced in the February 2012 issue.

We are humbled and pleased to inform you that we are the recipient of three Top 10 Tools awards for our 2011 Automatic Transmission Parts catalog, 2011 Standard Transmission and Transfer Case Parts catalog, and Standard Transmission and Transfer Case Units by Vehicle flip chart.  If you would like to view these catalogs, they can be downloaded from our Web site, or you can call your sales rep.

We wish to thank our customers for their acknowledgment, and are appreciative to Transmission Digest for this opportunity.  It is our commitment to keep creating ‘top tools’ for you!

World-Class Customer Service at your Front Door

World-class is our standard. It is the way we do business. Every single day.  For many customers, Transtar’s world-class parts and service just moved closer to them.  Last month, we acquired the assets of two companies – D & E Automotive and Cadco Products.

D & E, with six locations throughout the Midwest, and Cadco, located in Columbia, South Carolina, are now a part of the Transtar team.  Customers in these regions will  have access to products previously unavailable to them, such as Complete Transmission Units, Standard Parts, and Differential Kits and Components, as well as our comprehensive product offering, on-time delivery, and excellent service.

We would like to welcome these new customers and employees to the Transtar Team!

Are you Plugged in?

With roughly 270 transmissions out and the new technologies that are on the horizon, it is essential to be plugged in.  If you are not exactly sure what we mean by “plugged in,” all you have to do is attend an Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA) or Automatic Transmission Service Group (ATSG) seminar, and you will know what we mean.

At these seminars, not only will you will learn the latest fixes and updates to a variety of existing and new transmissions, but you will also have access to Transtar’s new torque converter displays.  We added these new additions to the Transtar booth because we want to show you exactly what we do differently.  You will have the opportunity to see the complexity of five cut open torque converters, and gain knowledge of their features, common failures and solutions to those failures.

In 2012, Transtar will be sponsoring or supporting a total of 38 ATSG and ATRA seminars.  In May and June, ATRA is hosting seminars in Denver, CO; Council Bluffs, IA; San Antonio, TX; and Tulsa, OK.  ATSG is hosting seminars in Indianapolis, IN; New Orleans, LA; and Atlanta, GA.  You can see the entire 2012 seminar listing or register to attend by clicking here

This is your opportunity to become acquainted with people in the industry, receive over $200 worth of Transtar coupons, and walk out plugged in!
