HEART NEWS It's Heart Week Heart Week runs from 1st to 7th May which will provide an opportunity to spread the word about #HeartWeek2023 to your colleagues, patients and community and encourage them to undertake a Heart Health Check with their GP. Heart Disease Symptoms in Women To find out more about heart disease symptoms in women and how they differ from men, check out Her Heart's website here that includes risk factors, support and resources. E O Myers Trust Grants Available Through the Heart Foundation you can apply for E O Myers Trust Fund grants to support medical education, advancing the knowledge and skills of cardiology health professionals or postgraduate students in SA. CHAP NEWS ![]() CR Web - co-designed by women As part of our CREW project, we will be working further with women throughout June to get feedback on the design of our Cardiac Rehabilitation Website (CR Web) that is being updated specifically for women. Tentative dates for workshops are Tuesday 6th June and Monday 26th June both online and face to face. Email us if you would like to be involved. Six Recommendations to Statewide Cardiac Clinical Network Following the 'Solutions for evaluation of quality outcomes of Cardiac Rehabilitation in SA Workshop' held on 24 February 2023 at SAHMRI, six issues and solutions were identified that were provided to the Statewide Cardiac Clinical Network for presentation to the network.
