Select Committee on Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Meeting Monday 12/3 at 3PM in Tallahassee
The Florida Senate Select Committee on PACA is having their first meeting on Monday, December 3rd at 3:00pm in the Knott Building Room 412. Groups from all over the state are banding together in an effort to stop our state from implementing a State Exchange for ObamaCare.
Conference calls were held and an action plan has been put into place. An E-Rally has been set up beginning tomorrow afternoon and we need your help! See the next article for details on this rally

FLORIDA ACTION ALERT - Email and Phone Calls : STOP OBAMACARE

We need EVERYONE to help send a message.
Beginning at 3pm on Sunday Dec 2, for 24 hours, PLEASE take some time and email, call, fax and tweet your Representatives to STOP Obamacare. I urge you to oppose any efforts to set up a health care exchange under President Obama’s health care takeover.
Despite your best efforts to retain control of our health care market, setting up this exchange will finalize the federal government’s takeover of our system. Each and every element of our health care insurance will now be subject to approval by bureaucrats in Washington.
The exchange will cost Florida untold millions of dollars each year to operate, while also increasing insurance rates and taxes on my family and business.
I urge you to reject this exchange. Support for an exchange is support for ObamaCare.

Florida is Our Last Line of Defense against Obamacare
YOU CAN HELP BY TAKING PART IN THE "SAY NO TO STATE EXCHANGES "E-Rally"
Beginning 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 2nd through 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 3rd.

www.afpflorida.com These sites will give you the information you need to understand why it is so important to contact our State legislators and tell them to say NO TO STATE EXCHANGES! The members of this committee must know that we expect them to say NO to any implementation of State exchanges for Obamacare. We encourage everyone to share this information with your mailing lists, twitter feeds, Facebook friends and any outlet for reaching people in Florida you may be using. It must be done before Monday at 3:00pm when the committee will be meeting. We will concentrate calls between 3:00pm Sunday Dec. 2 and 3:00pm Monday Dec. 3 so they will be overwhelmed with calls. We encourage faxes also so their office floors will be
blanketed with faxes when they come in on Monday.
ACTION STEPS:
Call, e-mail or fax every member of this committee between now and Monday December 3 at 3:00pm. Information for committee members is in 1st article.
Those who are near the home offices of the legislators on this committee need to go by their offices and let them know that you want them to say NO to State exchanges. Also go by your district legislators offices to tell them the same thing.
Inform them that 21 other states will NOT be creating exchanges, ask them to contact those states and ask them why they have decided to be non-compliant.
Insist that they just say NO to implementing a State run exchange in the State of Florida.
Attend the committee meeting in Tallahassee on Monday December 3. Meet with other patriots in Knott Bldg. Room 229 starting at 1:00pm, where you will get information on the meeting, then attend the committee meeting at 3:00pm where KrisAnne Hall and others will speak.
