Together Zero Tolerance, Scottish Women's Aid and NUS Scotland organised a protest at the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday September 3rd to call for Bill Walker to stand down as an MSP following his recent convictions for domestic abuse. The protest received extensive media coverage including Channel 4 News, The Guardian, Times,
BBC, Sun, Herald, Daily Record, Scotsman
and STV, among others. We would like to thank everyone that came along and helped out and hope this will lead to changes in the way the Parliament can deal with perpetrators of domestic abuse now and in the future. The initial press release sent out by the three organisations can be read here.
