Magazine Bay pile removal

The removal of redundant piles in Magazine Bay has been completed.

The 52 concrete piles were from the planned Magazine Bay Marina that was devastated by a storm in 2000. They were removed to improve navigation and public safety.

The pile removal took a month to complete and signals the start of future proposed development for the wider Naval Point area.
