Palm Beach Gardens Fire-Rescue is offering residents a valuable opportunity to learn lifesaving skills in 2025. Through their "How to Save a Life" initiative, they will conduct two different CPR courses — Hands-Only CPR and Child/Infant CPR — free of charge on the third Tuesday of each month. The courses alternate monthly, allowing residents to take one or both throughout the year. For details, refer to the above graphic.
CPR is a critical skill that can mean the difference between life and death in an emergency. For those of us living in a community with many senior residents, knowing how to respond quickly to a cardiac event is especially important. Hands-Only CPR is designed to give bystanders the confidence to act when an adult collapses, while Child/Infant CPR equips participants with techniques tailored to younger victims.
Minutes matter in a medical emergency, and early intervention can significantly increase survival rates. By taking one of these short, free courses, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence to help a neighbor, friend, or even a loved one when it matters most.
Eagleton residents are encouraged to take advantage of this important opportunity. Stay prepared, stay informed, and be ready to make a difference.
