Marco Rubio to Speak In Lake City on May 18th

Marco Rubio will be speaking in Lake City on Monday, May 18th.

The event will take place at FGC's Howeard Conference Center at 7:00 p.m. with $25 general admission. A VIP reception proceeding the assembly is $100 and begins at 5:00 p.m.

All funds raised during the event will be divided among the Republican Executive Committees of the seven counties - Columbia, Baker, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Suwannee and Union - these groups form the North Florida Rural Initiative.

Concerned Veterans for America Phone Banking

We will be phone banking for Concerned Veterans for America at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19th at the Columbia County downtown library. If you can help with this, please call Ed at 386-288-1688. Chick Fi 'a will be served at 5:30.

CVA advertises in our section of the American Patriot News each edition; this really helps with our printing costs.

A Vision For America - May 21, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.

Join Ted Yoho at the May 21st meeting of the North Central Florida Tea Party when he presents "A Vision for America"; this will be a discussion on America's potential and how you can get involved.

We meet at 7:00 p.m. on May 21st at the Jackie Taylor Building, 128 SW Birley Ave. in Lake City. This is on the corner of U.S. 90 and Birley, approximately 3 miles west of the I-75 interchange

There will be free BBQ! Please come and bring a friend or two!

Yearly Fundraiser (Gun Raffle)

We are in the middle of our yearly fundraiser for the Smith & Wesson SD 9mm. We need people to buy tickets, to help sell tickets, and to find places we can put tickets for sale! (small businesses) If you can help with this, please call John at 386-935-1705 or Sharon 386-935-0821. We use these funds for all the expenses incurred by our tea party. These include the American Patriot Newspaper printing every two weeks, buying pocket constitutions for the 7th grade Civics students in both Columbia and Suwannee counties, paying rent for the building when we meet each month, and the other expenses that we incur during the year. PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS! We will have tickets at our May 21st meeting - why not pick up a book and sell the tickets for a good cause!

The North Central Florida Tea Party is a group of citizens who are concerned about where our nation is heading. We are a grassroots, non-partisan group opposed to wasteful deficit spending and infringement of our natural rights. We do have a well-defined and uniform slate of principles on which we center our advocacy and support for political candidates. These principles include, first and foremost, advocating for Essential Liberty, the restoration of constitutional limits on government and the judiciary, and the promotion of free-enterprise, national defense, and traditional American values. Our goals are to educate ourselves on the issues facing us today, act on what we learn, and motivate other like-minded people to become involved. Find a way to become part of the solution instead of just complaining about the problems!
