Prime Minister-elect Bob Hawke acknowledges well-wishers on the steps of Parliament House on 7 March 1983.

Join us at Old Parliament House on Friday, 14 June 2019 to remember The Honourable Robert James Lee Hawke AC, 23rd Prime Minister of Australia. 

From 11.30am, we will be screening the State Memorial Service at the Sydney Opera House live in our House of Representatives Chamber.

During your visit, we invite you to sign the condolence book in King’s Hall, and explore special spaces including the Prime Minister’s Office, the Cabinet Room and the Prime Ministers of Australia exhibition.
