 Trick or Treat?
October is here, already!? Meaning that it’s officially acceptable to relentlessly moan about the weather, but at least we can keep spirits high with the impending spookiest day of the year to look forward to.
And I hope that you’ll be out with witches hats and scary masks in tow. I know I’ll be fuelling my inner child and piling on the creepy clobber this Halloween in order to be rewarded with bucket loads of tasty treats.
To help inspire you, we’ve pulled together some of Halloween must-haves in order for you to throw the ghostliest gathering of all. Just because autumn’s here does not mean that we have to lock ourselves away, there’s a host of great events on locally to you. So whatever you choose to do this October have fun.

This parent-specific event has a lot in store for mums, dads and little ones. You'll be able to enjoy an array of local and national companies specialising in all your shopping and advice needs as well as ensuring that you have a great day out too. A free goody bag will be handed out to every mum and mum-to-be at the show, packed with plenty of treats. You may also get chance to tick off some gift ideas for Christmas while you're there.

Admission: Children £0.50, Adults £2 (in aid of Jubilee Sailing Trust). Normal car parking charges apply.
An afternoon of food, fun and games with pumpkins and scarecrows taking centre stage and all for the Southampton based Jubilee Sailing Trust charity. Pumpkins of all sizes welcome and you are positively encouraged to bring your own scarecrow to join the popular Scarecrow Avenue. Pumpkin Festival Olympic games, storytelling, puppet theatre, Big Draw activities, beekeeping, craft stalls and much more.

This is a celebration of Hampshire’s finest beer and food producers, based at the Milestones Museum and adjacent parkland. The festival showcases a large range of producers and there is a full programme of demonstrations, exhibits and craft workshops, as well as live music and dance, street entertainment, traditional games, competitions and children’s activities.

 It's Space Week
That's right, it's World Space Week (October 4-10 annually) an international celebration of science and technology. The store is located in the prestigious Ocean Terminal Shopping Mall in the centre of Hong Kong.
