Free Webinar - Using the ENDUROFLOOR Design Feature

Header

Join us to find out more about the latest changes to the ENDUROCADD® software showing how to use the eagerly anticipated release of the ENDUROFLOOR Design Function. This will allow users to apply custom dead or live loads to floor trusses either as area loads, line loads or point loads, and each joist will be independently analysed. A certification sheet for the floor trusses is also prepared based on the user-selected loads advising whether the floor trusses pass or fail. This is the first program to detail and do a full structural analysis on floor joists.

This design function is the culmination of 2 years of work to develop, test the flooring system, and include in the ENDUROCADD® software.

This course is being offered as a free online webinar on Thursday, 2nd February from 3:00pm - 3:45pm AEST.

To register your interest, please contact Sean by clicking on this link, and access details for the webinar will be sent to you. Please note this will be limited to the first 25 responders, however we will post the session on our Help pages.

New ENDUROCADD® Software Release

Many new tools were included in the release made just before Christmas in V9.11.6 with a greatly enhanced User Interface introduced. Feedback has been positive on this enhancement and users are seeing some good productivity improvements. A full description of this new functionality is contained on our Help site at this link.

As usual, we appreciate your feedback on these changes!

In case you missed it, we have also recorded the online webinar on how to use these functions available for viewing at this link.

Both of these are highly recommended to fully understand how to take advantage of this new functionality which can greatly improve detailing times.

Helpful tips

  • it is possible to create customised parts lists which are generated during the detail process. A full description of how to create these customised lists are contained at this link.
  • 3D dxf images can be exported from the ENDUROCADD® software. This can be done in 2 ways: either from the 3D viewer by going to File -> Export, or from within ENDUROCADD® by going to Toolkit -> Foreign CAD -> Export rendered view to DXF. In each case the current view will be exported. This is extremely helpful when trying to get structural steel layouts which can be exported into structural steel detailing packages.
  • We have a poster which can be printed out and laminated which contains all of the standard truss connection drawings. This is very handy to put next to fabricators to refer to when assembling trusses. These very useful sheets can be downloaded from here.
