BIOPUNCTURE

Hi everyone! I would like to introduce you all to an exciting new technique that I have been using in my practice now for about a year. I have been experiencing such phenomenal results with people that I wanted to share this with those of you that may not know about this practice. It's called Biopuncture which is the injection of homeopathic remedies into areas of pain or inflammation. Products commonly used in Biopuncture are, for example, arnica, echinacea, nux vomica and chamomile. Arnica is used for muscle pain, nux vomica is injected for digestive problems, echinacea is used to increase the natural defense system of the body. Biopuncturists always inject cocktails of natural products. Lymphomyosot is used for lymphatic drainage, Traumeel for inflammations and sports injuries, Spascupreel for muscular cramps. There are many others for various other conditions. Basically,  Biopuncture works by stimulating the bodies own natural healing process such as better local blood circulation, tissue repair, relaxation of the muscles and local detoxification. The injections are given either under the skin ,into a trigger point or into a specific muscle or ligament. A very small needle is used and the quantity is quite small which allows most to find the treatment easily well tolerated.

Since using these homeopathic injectable remedies with my patients I have noted great improvement in such conditions but not limited to: heel pain, plantar fasciitis, neuromas, bunion pain, gout, tendonitis, joint pain (foot and ankle), and swelling. If you or someone you know is interested in these treatments please give our office a call for more information. AN ALTERNATIVE FOR ALL YOU PASTA LOVERS

It's that time of year to start cutting back on the denser type foods that some of us consume during the colder months. In the Springtime the body naturally craves lighter fare in preparation for a more cleansing diet allowing the body to purge itself of built up toxins and impurities. Kelp noodles are a great alternative to use as a substitute for pasta and are highly nutritious!

Kelp Noodles are a sea vegetable in the form of an easy to eat raw noodle. Made of only kelp (a sea vegetable), sodium alginate (sodium salt extracted from a brown seaweed), and water, Kelp Noodles are fat-free, gluten-free, and very low in carbohydrates and calories. Their noodle form and neutral taste allow for a variety of uses including salads, stir-fries, hot broths, and casseroles, while their healthful content provides a rich source of trace minerals including iodine, which kelp is well known for. Their unique texture completes the package, making Kelp Noodles a one-of-a-kind healthful and tasty alternative to pasta and rice noodles. Best of all, no cooking is required. Just rinse and add the noodles to any dish and they are ready to eat!
