The latest Talking Shop project has been extremely well received in Lancaster, so much so that the exhibition of Alice Angus' work has now been extended. Leading NW public realm artist Stephen Charnock (aka Scartworks) has completed an original commission for the forecourt of Accrington’s new Tesco store. Selected from a shortlist of three Lancashire artists, his design evokes the past of the Eagle Street site as an historic railway junction and goods yard. The tracks he has reimagined are inscribed with text created by young people at local schools, working with poet Terry Caffrey.
