No images? Click here Kin Ng has served as a prosecutor in the Brooklyn DA’s office for over 30 years, handling a wide range of felonies including burglaries, sexual offenses, and homicides. Throughout his career, he has held various roles such as Deputy Bureau Chief in The Early Case Assessment Bureau and Criminal Court, Bureau Chief of the Domestic Violence Bureau, and the Director of Training. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice where he taught courses in the American Judiciary and New York Criminal Law. Kin has held significant leadership positions, including Felony Deputy Bureau Chief of the Orange Zone Trial Bureau, later advancing to Chief of the Immigrant Fraud Unit, where he successfully prosecuted cases against those who exploited Brooklyn’s immigrant community. He was also the first APIA Bureau Chief of a major trial bureau and later became the Bureau Chief of Trial Bureau II – Blue Zone. Throughout his career at the District Attorney’s Office, Kin has lectured regularly at various government agencies and community-based organizations on criminal justice issues. He has worked extensively with media to educate immigrant community. Outside of work, Kin is actively involved with the Asian American Bar Association of New York and is a founding member and co-chair of its Prosecutors Committee. He is a founding member of the National Asian Pacific Islander Prosecutors Association and a member of its National Executive Board and the President of its New York Chapter. He is also a senior member of the KCDA's legal hiring board and an EEO counselor.
